Hi! I’m Meg.

I use this space to document how I combine nature, mindfulness and creativity to stay rooted throughout the seasons of my life.

I don’t have answers—I feel more like a compass pointing towards observations, explorations, and lived experiences. And I want to reveal the reliable rhythms of nature and simple creative activities that help me feel more at home in my own skin.

This isn't about a goal of becoming a 'perfect' version of myself. It’s about noticing the beauty that’s already here, in my day to day.

What are you exploring to stay rooted these days?

I’d love to hear.

Field Notes & Observations.

Current Daily Pillars I’m Leaning Into.

Nature’s Rhythm

I look out the window.

I notice the themes that are speaking to me through Earth’s natural cycles—to help slow down and find my footing in the current moment/season.

Creative Spark

I work with my hands.

I may not technically be an "artist" but I am creative. I use messy sketches, simple crafts, and low-pressure projects to quiet the brain and find a little joy.

The Inner Hearth

I befriend my inner voice.

I use practical mindfulness that suits the non-meditator-types. These tools help me feel resourced from within myself, rather than outer influences.

WINTER SEASON

What I see in nature right now:

Less hours of sunlight which allows more time for rest and conserving energy for the new year ahead.

Most trees are bare, the flowers are long gone, and all that remains seen are the roots. The beaches are brisk and less populated where I am in SC.

This is the natural time of less doing, and more dreaming, connecting to my roots, and listening for the inner whispers of new ideas.

What do you see in nature and how is she is reflecting back in your life?
